A thick, creamy 5-minute smoothie made with ripe banana, peanut butter, Greek yogurt and oats — balanced with protein, healthy fat and fiber so it keeps you full until lunch.
Pairs well with whole-grain toast, egg bites, or as a standalone post-workout breakfast. Try the chocolate variation with 1 tbsp cocoa powder.
Ripe banana, creamy peanut butter, Greek yogurt and rolled oats blended into a thick, milkshake-style breakfast smoothie with around 20g of protein.
Add the milk first, then the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, banana, oats, honey, vanilla and cinnamon. Add ice only if the banana is fresh.
Blend on high for 45-60 seconds, stopping once to scrape the sides, until completely smooth.
Add a splash of milk if too thick, or a few ice cubes if too thin, and pulse again.
Pour into a tall glass, drizzle with peanut butter and top with banana slices and a pinch of cinnamon. Serve immediately.
Freeze ripe banana slices ahead of time for the creamiest texture. Do not exceed 1/4 cup oats or the smoothie thickens too much while sitting.
