Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Load the blender

Add the milk first, then the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, banana, oats, honey, vanilla and cinnamon. Add ice only if the banana is fresh.

  2. Blend until creamy

Blend on high for 45-60 seconds, stopping once to scrape the sides, until completely smooth.

  3. Adjust the texture

Add a splash of milk if too thick, or a few ice cubes if too thin, and pulse again.

  4. Pour and serve

Pour into a tall glass, drizzle with peanut butter and top with banana slices and a pinch of cinnamon. Serve immediately.

Note

Freeze ripe banana slices ahead of time for the creamiest texture. Do not exceed 1/4 cup oats or the smoothie thickens too much while sitting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Expand All:

Can I make this without Greek yogurt?

Yes. Use silken tofu for a similar protein boost, or extra milk and peanut butter for a lighter version.

How long does it keep?

Best fresh, but it keeps in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake well before drinking.

Why is my smoothie grainy?

Blend a full 45-60 seconds with liquid added first. A blender rated for frozen fruit prevents graininess.
